This is the eleventh and FINAL (really, I promise) of a many step project of a self portrait of myself, using a grid system from a photograph. And here we are! This is it, ladies and gents! Finally and fully completed, and in this scan the red used on my nose and parts of my eye start out a lot, and it looks like I'm bleeding, which I'm not. Although I'm pretty pleased with it overall, I'm a little pissed with how there are two or three scratches on the bottom of the board that show up and really take away from the original. My hair in real life is almost NEVER as blond as it was in the photo, much less in the brighter version of the final self portrait. In real life, the hand also doesn't look as good as it does here, the white and yellow blend so much it can be hard to tell what exactly it is. >< I have a totally different self portrait that I will also be uploading later, but that will just be the final, as I didn't think to chronicle the steps of creation. This is the brighter of the two final scans. Again, I promise, I'm not as totally psychotic as I appear in these self portrait(s), and I don't bite, so drop me a line some time if you're in the mood for a conversation on just about anything.
